CALGARY, AB, May 3, 2024 - Summit Nanotech (“Summit”) announces Lori Evans as its new Chief Strategy Officer. This appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Summit as the company expands its global business across multiple countries and jurisdictions.

Evans has over 20 years of experience in executive roles with private equity, renewables and industrial services businesses operating across the Americas and Europe. Prior to joining Summit, she spent a decade leading strategy, corporate development, finance and legal functions in climate tech businesses commercializing innovative technologies internationally. Previously, she practiced law at leading firms and corporations in Canada and the US. Her accomplishments include being recognized in the 100 Women in Energy Transformation Series by the Pembina Institute in 2022 and named one of the 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada by Canadian Lawyer Magazine in 2011.

In this new role, Evans is responsible for  Summit’s finance, capital markets, M&A and legal functions. Her primary focus will be leading a cross-organizational approach to refining and advancing the strategic objectives of the business. Evans, partnering with the CEO and other executives, will refine and execute Summit’s strategy to deliver the most sustainable lithium in the world.
